Moving In

Several things must be completed seven (7) days before your scheduled move-in date.

1. Your lease must be signed by all adults named on the lease.

2. All move-in funds must be paid.

3. Complete your Move-in Orientation

At GTR Brokerage, our Move-in Orientation is a convenient and flexible way to give you all the information you need about your home and leasing a home with us. One of our Resident Relations Specialists will contact you to schedule your orientation. We’ll conduct your orientation over the phone or by video chat.

Here’s what you need to know about the Move-in Orientation:

  • It will take approximately 10-15 minutes by phone.
  • Orientation can only be completed with an adult(s) listed on the lease.
  • Move-in Orientations are available Monday through Friday between 9 am and 2 pm local time.
  • You’ll learn how to make rent payments with GTR Brokerage, place maintenance requests, and learn the home and home care basics.
  • We’ll discuss the renter’s insurance, HOA, and other pertinent items.
  • We’ll review the move-in inspection, including photos of your home’s interior and exterior, and answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to open these documents via email so we can review them together on our call.

Once you complete your orientation and complete items 1, 2, and 3 listed above, we’ll release the lockbox code on your lease start date so you can access your home’s keys. Return the lockbox using the box provided.

Welcome home!

You must set up electricity, water, sewer, trash, gas, and cable/internet service separately. Additional information regarding utilities will be in your lease.

Renters insurance provides you with peace of mind knowing that your personal belongings are covered in the event of unforeseeable circumstances. It’s so important that we require that our residents carry it while they live in our homes. GTR Brokerage offers rental insurance options threw our tenant portal.
